Uncontrollable ambition, hallucinations, confrontations, media manipulations, murders and political paranoia are played out in an promenade version of Shakespeare's text adapted for the street by Sarah Harper, Susan Haedicke and Pascal Laurent. Passionate and exuberant, the actors play and dance to a rock and Celtic music score through the audience and above their heads.
In a combat zone, during an undefined world war, English, French and Spanish voices weave Shakespeare's poetry, while a cabaret comedian, the doorman, serves as our contemporary guide through the minefield of the race for power.
